“The Taste of Bunbury” tour departs the Bunbury Visitor Centre at 10am on Fridays and the duration of the tour is approximately two hours.  This tour highlights heritage and iconic buildings and also includes tastings at 5 gourmet businesses in the CBD and Marlston Waterfront area (all tastings free).

Note: Tours run on a Wednesday and a Friday EXCEPT when a cruise ship is visiting Bunbury and then both tours run that week only on the day the cruise ship is docked.

Craft Collections is a fabulous speciatly patchwork shop.  It carries a huge range of pre-cuts, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, Charm Packs and a huge range of books to advise you on how to use them.  There is over 4000 bolts of fabrics, lots of displays for inspiration and also a large range of gifts, sewing boxes, threads, rulers, fat quarters and all in a fully air conditioned premises.

Moody Cow Brewery has 7 handcrafted beers on tap including the Black Dog Pils, Pale Ale, Grunta’s Original Ale, Simply Red Irish Ale, Fergus Dark Ale and Zest, all made on the premises by Chief Brewer Grant. The beers are all natural with no additives, no preservatives, just a true brew. Moody Cow Brewery also serve a selection of local wines and Yahava coffee.

The 2012 WA Performing Arts Eisteddfod was a hailed a great success and closed on a high note with Libby Hammer hosting the Gala Concert.  At the Gala Concert, awards were presented and highlight performances entertained a full house at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC), Blair Street, Bunbury.

The Eisteddfod, a competitive music festival, ran for 21 days, 7 days a week, 12 hours a day during June 2012.  Thousands of performances graced the stage of BREC.  All genres of the performing arts were catered for.

Music: vocal, choral, piano, strings, percussion, brass, woodwind, jazz, concert bands etc.

Dance: Modern hip-hop, clasical, acrobatics.

Speech and Drama: monologue, duologue, recitation and solos.

The Eisteddfod Committee congratulates all performers who participated in the 2012 Eisteddfod and look forward to seeing the evolvement of entrants artistic and creative skills in the years to come.

Throughout the Eisteddfod audiences were welcome and highly entertained, in many theatrical ways, at an affordable price.
