Bunbury Flying School is the largest flight training facility in regional Western Australia. They offer professional flight training up to commercial standard as well as conducting scenic, aerobatic and adventure flights. Southern Aviation also offers charter flights, including urgent freight, and is open 7 days a week.
They can offer scenic flight itineraries or you may specify a particular route or destination which you would prefer. The scenic flights are conducted in a four seat low wing Piper Arrow or their new six seat, high wing, twin engined VulcanAir – all window seats!
A few examples of popular scenic flight routes include:
A thirty minute trip around Bunbury, taking in the Leschenault Inlet to the North and viewing the CBD of Bunbury, and the coast to the south of the city towards Dalyellup.
One and a half hours following the coastline south from Bunbury passing Busselton and Dunsborough on the way to Cape Naturaliste, and then again southwards to Cape Leeuwin and Augusta, before tracking north towards Busselton and returning to Bunbury. This is an excellent way to view the coastline and discover the hidden bays around the capes area.
One hour on a similar route to the slightly longer flight above, travelling as far south as Cape Naturaliste and the town of Margaret River before turning northwards and returning to Bunbury.
